Job Description
In this role at CelcomDigi, you will be part of Company Performance & Corporate Cost Management team and responsible for timely management reporting and insights for key management decision purposes, focusing on cost management.

You are:
- Strong at managing KPIs and deliverables to ensure it is aligned with Company’s ambition and goals
- Passionate in understanding what drives performance of the Company and its line of businesses, and associated costs driving growth in business
- Driven in finding opportunities or solutions to close gaps and heighten Company’s performance via effective cost management
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist HoS in preparing, reviewing and facilitating yearly business plan and alignment with Group Strategy on managing overall timeline
- Provide oversight of periodic reporting, not limited to monthly performance analysis and forecasts, including conduct discussions with commercial/ product stakeholders
- Provide support to HoD in periodic reporting to management, Principals
- Support cost management / oversight in subsidiaries and CD corporate functions
- Challenge assumptions, business drivers, game plans identified and ensure alignment with Company’s ambition & financial and scorecard
- Drive end-to-end cost management/optimisation exercise, understanding Total Cost of Ownership on areas of review, prepare cost analysis and provide valuable insights in guiding commercial stakeholders for decision making
- Collaborate closely with finance business partner in supporting commercial stakeholders, explore and drive process harmonisation (including automation of manual processes) within Financial planning & analysis function
- Ensure accurate KPIs tracking, highlight business risks based on analysis
- Provide value-adding analysis & deep-dive to Commercial team & guide management for key commercial decision making
- Co-ordinate closely with Finance Business Partners & Head of Accounting to harmonize accounting definition/treatment and performance dashboard for all commercial cost items
- Co-ordinate closely with HoS of Commercial Performance Management to deliver required reporting to Principals and/or Board
- Provide support and input to HoS of Commercial Performance Management on Profitability Reporting
Your Merits:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, preferably a Fellow (FCCA, ICAEW etc)
- Proactive & positive mindset, result oriented and able to support HoS/HoD and work closely with senior leaders from Finance team
- Possess minimum of 7 - 10 years of cost management
- Overall minimum telco industry experience of 5 years
- Strong business acumen & stakeholder management skill with excellent communication skills
- Ability to articulate messages and develop presentation slides with support analysis findings
- Possess strong presentation skillset, ability to present independently
- Strong analytical skills & appreciation of numbers
