Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver models by using machine learning techniques to cater for the identified business gaps.
  • Assess the problem statement and make high-level suggestions on the best approach to solve business problems.
  • Ability to deal with stakeholders with minimal guidance and share modelling output effectively.
  • Collaborate and establish a close working relationship with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met & delivered in timely manner.
  • Collaborating with peers for cross-functional problem solving.
  • Continuously seek new innovative ways or new data sources to improve the models/ increase business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science/ Actuarial Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Sciences.
  • Demonstrable experience working on analytics and/or machine learning projects.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Spark R or equivalent and BI Tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and classifiers.
  • Good communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
