Job Description
The role oversees nationwide facilities-related contracts, procurement, and vendor management, ensuring cost-effective acquisitions within budget and KPIs. Responsibilities include contract coordination, vendor evaluation, system operations, project assessments, compliance audits, committee approvals, strategic planning, and supporting cross-functional initiatives as needed.
This is a 2-years contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Single contact and control point for facilities related contract, procurement & vendor management services encompass entire department needs nationwide
- Perform value engineering, cost benefit analysis for all major projects. Ensure acquisition within budget allocated and departmental KPI/ Planning
- Devise and Coordinating contract agreement with long term service vendors, procurement, finance and legal team.
- Perform Vendor performance evaluation, registration, IDD, audit and escalation as and when required.
- Workspace Coupa/SAP/Oracle/FPSP system operator and tech support day to day basis for internal and external users / requester / approvers.
- Coordinating party for Steering, Investment, Procurement, Budget and other relevant Committee Approval as and when required
- Manage, review and assess major projects deliverables, KPI, SLA, contract renewal, dispute resolution and recommendation for Celcomdigi benefits.
- On site inspection, desktop evaluation, paperwork validation and submission approval by vendor for work order deployment and projects incl. liaison with stakeholders
- Develop forms, template, SOP, management reports on a structured, scheduled basis as and when required for effective and efficient vendor performance
- Audit workspace procurement on a scheduled basis to ensure 100% compliance and delivery. Liaison with external auditor as and when required.
- Plan action in related strategic project and cost saving initiatives ensuring KPI achieved as per management expectations
- Participate in any departmental adhoc and cross functional task mandated by management as and when required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Facilities, Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Project Management, Engineering, Science, Law or equivalent
- Facilities management, Building Operation, Engineering Projects
- Basic contract / commercial law understanding. General management and operation administration
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Powerpoint, Word. Project
- Clear and concise writing skills. Project Management Intermediate / Advance knowledge
- Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken
