Job Description
Lead the CelcomDigi Portfolio to match investments with company goals, use resources wisely, and get the most value. Manage and adjust priorities as needed. Check how projects affect company goals and suggest improvements. Oversee portfolio activities and ensure they follow the Project & Portfolio Management Framework (PPMF). Help teams work together smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment of the annual CelcomDigi Portfolio to ensure investments are aligned with co-wide strategy and priorities, ensure resources are optimized and value delivery maximized.
- Continuous management and monitoring of demands and rebalancing of priorities across co-wide.
- Based on progress of project execution, and changes/new demands, assess impact to achieving co-wide outcomes and KPIs, and highlight key contentions and recommending opportunities to streamline across various projects.
- Maintain oversight, monitor status of divisional portfolio basis, and its activities are in accordance with the Project & Portfolio Management Framework (PPMF).
- Facilitate process of initiating, removing barriers for business owners and coordinating cross-functional collaboration efforts.
- Responsible for execution of concept development (G1), concept formalization (G2) and benefit realization post project closure (G5).
- Prepare and report to the Portfolio Governance Committee (PGC) chaired by the CEO and attended by CxOs on the progress and changes on the CD Portfolio, including recommendations to manage resource and budget contentions.
- Perform quality assurance on internal processes, recommend and implement improvements for the department.
- Assist to support / run any other additional internal Transformation programmes to ensure realization of company targets and ambitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 15-20 years of relevant experience
- Skilled in portfolio management, aligning investments with company vision, prioritizing resources, and conducting cost-benefit analysis
- Monitor performance, manage risks, and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Understanding of telecom industry trends
- Results-driven, problem-solving, and innovative thinking
- Translate insights into actions
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Financially literate
