Role overview 

 

  • Responsible for developing and implementing wellbeing initiatives and programs that supports the holistic wellbeing of the employees. 
  • Work closely with the HR, the health and safety committee, and the senior management to identify the wellbeing needs and priorities of the staff and the organization. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the wellbeing activities and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. 

Job Description

Key responsibilities 

  • Continuously developing and Implementing the CelcomDigi wellbeing strategies and initiatives across the organization to support physical, mental, and wellbeing culture for all staff members including inspiring and motivating staff to take responsibility for their wellbeing and take proactive measures in maintaining good health. 
  • Monitoring, evaluating and enhancing wellbeing policies, programs, and initiatives and making recommendations for improvements to enhance overall staff wellbeing. 
  • Tracking and monitoring staff health data and taking action accordingly  
  • Collaborating with senior leadership, HR and other departments to ensure employee wellbeing is always addressed. 
  • Providing advice and resources to ensure all team members have the necessary guidance and support to support their health and wellbeing.  
  • Identifying psychological, emotional and social problems in the workplace and creating appropriate solutions to address them. 
  • Conducting surveys and assessments of employee satisfaction and engagement; measuring and reporting on outcomes; identifying innovative approaches to cultivating employee wellbeing 
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders, such as health care providers, wellness coaches, and mental health professionals, to access and leverage their expertise and resources. 
  • Research and keep up to date with the best practices and trends in wellbeing and wellness in the workplace. 
  • Drive technology adoption (e.g. apps/trackers/sensors etc) for wellness/well-being program, and collaborate with relevant tech function to integrate into wider technology ecosystem  
  • Drive wellness/well-being advocacy & certification amongst leaders and employees especially any statutory/authority compliance (e.g. Mental Health First Aid etc) 

 

Skills and qualifications 

  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, behavioral science, human resources, or a related field. 
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience and two to five years of experience in designing and delivering wellbeing or wellness programs in a corporate setting with a passion for creating innovative and effective workplace wellness programs.  
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, bolstered by strong analytical and problem-solving acumen. 
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • A high level of creativity, innovation, and enthusiasm for wellbeing and wellness. 
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of people and stakeholders. 
  • Awareness and sensitivity to the cultural and individual differences and needs of the employees and the organization.  
  • Well-honed knowledge of workplace wellbeing best practices, such as mental health, stress management, and interpersonal relationship building  
  • Proficiency in data analysis and use of statistical software (maybe need to reword) to evaluate program effectiveness and inform future initiatives. 
  • Experience in developing tailored interventions that address the specific needs of various demographic groups within the organization.  
  • Ability to integrate technology solutions, such as wellness apps or health tracking platforms, to enhance program engagement and outcomes. 
  • Training and certification in mental health first aid, enhancing the ability to address urgent mental health issues within the workforce promptly. 
  • Leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating teams and fostering a culture of health and wellbeing across the organization.
